Leland Sandler
Leland Sandler is the principal of The Sandler Group, LLC, is an executive coaching, organizational effectiveness, and management-consulting firm focused on sustainable change. The firm’s managing partner, Leland Sandler, offers a wealth of executive level management and entrepreneurial acumen gained during his 15+ years working with top tier medical device manufacturers and bio-pharmaceutical companies. Leland has an intuitive talent for observing the nuances of individual leadership personalities and getting his clients to recognize opportunities and methodologies for change.
After a successful, two-year role as a consultant for Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Leland joined the company’s senior management team as the Executive Director of Leadership Development and Organizational Strategy. During a four- year span, Leland designed and helped implement a successful Leadership Development Program and Succession Planning Process. He also worked with the company’s senior executive team in their own development, as well as helping facilitate the transition to a new, more flexible operating model.

Leland graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where he majored in history and played and coached intercollegiate volleyball. He also holds an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University (Organizational Effectiveness) and an M.A. in Education Technology (Corporate Learning) from San Francisco State University.
